My In Studio Portrait Photography prices

I am a simple country girl that leads a simple country life.No need in making things more difficult than they need to be. That is my style. I have used that same style in my photography and pricing. 

so here is the simple break down of my In Studio price....

Studio Portrait pricing is $25.00 per hour. That price is for any studio portraits.

     Bridal

      Engagement

     Family

      Baby

       Maturity

        Risque 

A portrait is a portrait.

 I will edit each portrait individually to make it look its best.

As far as creative edits...some portraits just talk to me. One may say 'I 'm a black & white' where another may not. 

Now to answer some questions that you may have.

1. Can I change outfits? Yes as many times as you can in your time. 

2. How many people can I bring? My studio can handle 8...and I will be honest that's getting crowded.If your family is that large you will be more comfortable in an outdoor location.

3. Do you charge more/per person. No..and why would I? It is not going to cost more to photograph 8 people instead of 4. The family has changed over the years. Its not just mom,dad and 2 kids anymore.I want to capture 'your' family whatever that may be.

4.I'm a bride..what do I need? You will need your entire outfit and your bouquet. Please bring at least 1 helper. 

5. How long will it take to see my edited portraits?  No more than 3 days. I do all edits myself. No long wait while I send you portraits out to be edited.

After your portrait session I will edit your portraits and make you a CD of your portraits. I will also give you a photographers release. This will give you the right to make copies of your portraits. 

If you want quick prints of your portraits I have 2 photo printers and I can print your portraits up to an  11x14. You can have your prints the next day.

If you want professional quality portraits prints I also deal with a fabulous professional print company. If you chose to order professional prints it will be a 10 day wait.

I have tried to make my prints simple too. You order and pay for what you want.

 No packages! Print prices are Al a cart.

Kayla & Dani

Kayla & Dani came to see me this week. These 2 little girls are so sweet...well ...lol.
Kayla is one of my 'models'. She has reached the age she loves to pose for the camera...and I let her.  Dani has reached the age of 'chase me if you want it',lol.

Here are a few of my favs for their visit.

Budget  Weddings

Nowadays I think everyone is on a budget and weddings are no exception.  You can still have a beautiful wedding even on a small budget. 

So when you start adding up the cost of the dress,flowers and food...PLEASE don't forget to add your pictures. Most wedding planners will tell you to budget 1/4 of your money for photography and that's a good estimate. 

Really.. you are going to pay $000.00 & up for your cake. It may be delicious but it will be gone in a few days. Your pictures are the memories that will last a lifetime.  

The problem usually starts when things start to cost more than you had planned for. Your monies running out!! Oh No what do I do!!! I know I have a friend that has a really nice camera...I'll ask them to take the pictures for me. 

BIG MISTAKE!! Just because Ms X has an expensive camera does not mean you will get professional quality pictures.

 Here are the questions to ask Ms X ...

1. Do you shoot in Raw?  If the answer is not a YES... run.

2. Can you take pictures during the ceremony without your flash?  If the answer is not YES they either   don't have the knowledge they need or their equipment is not as nice as you thought it was.

3. Have you ever taken pictures at an event before? If the answer is no, you really want to think about this. Must people have no idea the amount of work a wedding can be.

4. Ask to see some of their pictures and judge them for yourself. If they look like random pics..that's what your wedding pictures are going to look like.

5. Can you edit and enhance my pictures? Again here looking at their past pictures will be a good example of what they can and can not do.

These are just a few basic questions that will give you an idea of Ms X's experience and knowledge.

Even if your budget is small and you still DESERVE professional pictures .

With my Wedding packages I charge per hour. So you can manage the total cost of your pictures.

Easter - Spring In Studio Portraits

Hello March....then Spring must be right around the corner!! And with Spring comes Easter. Time for everybody to get dressed in their finest and get Easter portraits done!!!
